Meet Maryanne - Clarinet Teacher

Maryanne LaCaille has garnered acclaim as a performer and educator throughout the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Belgium, USA and UAE. As guest soloist, Ms. LaCaille has performed with the Augsburg, Nova Scotia, Green Bay, Richmond, and Stamford Symphonies, the Seattle Philharmonic, Lake Union Civic Orchestra in the Pacific Northwest.

During her music studies in the New England region she played with the Halifax Nova Scotia Summer Festival Orchestra and Tanglewood Festival Orchestra under the baton of Aaron Copland (1978-79). Reviews throughout USA, Italy and Germany lauded her for her beautiful sound and remarkable technical skills.

In 2008, Maryanne made her New York debut at Merkin Hall performing a world premiere written for clarinet, cello and piano by the composer John Alan Rose which was received with positive reviews by the New York Concert Review Magazine and Anthony Aibel. In 2014, she attended ICA in Baton Rouge at LSU, 2016 in Orlando to present a lecture, 2017 in Lawrence KS, 2018 in Belgium. In 2019 Maryanne, along with international concert pianist, Dr. Jason Kuo will perform the Poulenc Clarinet Sonata and two movements from the Paquito D'Rivera 'Cape Cod Files' for clarinet and piano at ICA 2019 in Knoxville, TN.

Maryanne is a Silverstein Artist, RZ Clarinet Artist and product specialist. Recent projects have taken her to Belgium and the UAE to perform chamber music concerts and motivational masterclasses. Ms. Lacaille has recently been invited to perform with Ballard Civic Orchestra as principal clarinetist performing to sold-out concert venues. Most recently the BCO appeared at the Plymouth Congregational Church in Seattle 2018 to a standing-room-only performance of the Mozart Requiem performing as a soloist on Basset Horn. On February 15th 2019, BCO will join forces with Seattle Symphony for a one-time performance of two works by Jose Pablo Moncayo.
