Meet Kenneth - Voice Teacher

A native of Northern New England, Mr. Foster earned his undergraduate degree in Eastern Tennessee where he studied voice with Professor James Frost, at Lee University. Following his bachelor's degree Mr. Foster moved to Western New York where he studied voice with Professor Katherine Ciesinski and Dr. Russell Miller (Vocal Coach).

Mr. Foster began his professional studies as a lyric baritone, but has transitioned to spinto tenor, providing him with a unique insight on developing voices as well as various voice classifications. Mr. Foster continues to expand his knowledge as a vocal pedagogue completing graduate level coursework and training voices of all ages in both the classical and musical theater styles. Mr. Foster has also received training from Voice Therapists on vocal health and hygiene dealing with mild vocal injuries and overcoming tension in the vocal mechanism.

Mr. Foster has been chosen for numerous summer artists programs; Sherril Milnes VOICExperience, Opera Viva!, and Savannah Voice Project. He has also performed with the Finger Lakes Opera, and Chattanooga Symphony and Opera. Mr. Foster currently resides in Seattle, WA where he is working towards his DMA in Voice. Operatic Roles: The Black Cat (L'enfant et les sortilèges), Father (Hänsel und Gretel), and Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro). Music Theater Roles: Prince (Cinderella), Freddy (My Fair Lady), Albert Peterson ( Bye Bye Birdie), Lori (Little Women, A Little Musical), and Jack (Into the Woods).
