Meet Anders - Guitar Teacher

Anders has been playing the guitar for 15 years, ever since falling in love with it as a child. He has performed at the Berklee School of Music, and graduated from the University of Portland with a degree in Theatre Technology with a focus on sound design. As a self-taught guitarist and producer, his passion for the guitar extends beyond performance; he has written, recorded, mixed, and mastered music for himself and others, and designs and builds his own guitar effects.

Anders believes that the best way to foster a passion for making music is to allow the freedom for self-expression, and works to facilitate student's enjoyment by allowing them to shape lesson planning and performance goals. If a student has an interest in expressing themselves through the guitar, combining the artistic and technical sides of music, or even a budding interest in luthiery, Anders can guide them towards developing the self-reliance and ingenuity that will let them be successful.
