Nina joins the AWSOM faculty as a vibrant young educator dedicated to fostering a deep, multi-faceted love for music in her students. Nina values exploring a work of music from different perspectives, beyond playing the notes: she encourages building a meaningful relationship with a piece by teaching students about a work's composer, elements, structure, and much more. Her goal is to inspire a genuine artistic voice in each student, whether they are just beginning their journey or preparing for advanced performance. She has experience as a tutor with the DoReMi Project, where she teaches piano and music theory.
