Meet Morgan - Piano, Violin, Viola, & Guitar Teacher
I am a dedicated music educator and multi-instrumentalist with more than 17 years of experience teaching violin, viola, piano, and guitar. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and have worked as a private music instructor, orchestra director, elementary music educator, and K-8 classroom teacher.
I began teaching private music lessons in 2009 and enjoy working with students of different ages, abilities, and learning styles. I offer beginner through advanced instruction in violin and viola, as well as beginner through intermediate instruction in piano and guitar. My professional music education experience also includes directing middle school orchestra, teaching general music, and leading a 5th-grade orchestra program.
My years as both a music and classroom educator have taught me that every student learns differently, and every child is capable of greatness. I strive to create lessons that are encouraging, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual goals and learning needs. I believe in developing strong musical foundations while also building confidence, creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of music.
Music has remained an important part of my own life as a performer as well. In 2025, I was invited by Indigenous Enterprise to contribute to music development and perform violin in the Arizona premiere of Still Here, a show that went on to perform at the Joyce Theater in NYC. I have played in opening ensembles for American Idol finalists such as Zach Person and Wade Cota, as well as provided string quartet accompaniment for artists such as Cristabel Clack and Aaron Shust.
