Meet Amber - Piano Teacher

Amber is a fun, encouraging, and creative piano instructor with over 20 years of experience helping kids discover the joy of music. Originally from the Chicago area and inspired by the rich music culture of the Midwest she brings a warm energetic teaching style that inspires students to build confidence, express themselves creatively and truly enjoy learning the piano. Amber believes music lessons should be feel exciting , positive and imaginative while still building strong musical foundations and technique.

Her lessons are tailored to meet each child where they are, blending patience, encouragement, structure and creativity into every session. Whether students are learning beginner basics, classical pieces, favorite pop songs or exploring improvisation Amber creates a welcoming environment where young musicians feel comfortable growing at their own pace. She enjoys helping students discover that practicing can be both rewarding and fun.

In addition to teaching piano Amber has an extensive background as a performer. Along with years of classical and contemporary piano experience, she has performed in rock bands and wedding bands throughout her musical journey. These experiences give her a versatile and well rounded approach to music education allowing her to connect with students who enjoy many styles of music. She enjoys real world musical experience with her students while encouraging creativity, stage confidence, and a life long appreciation for the arts.
