Meet Marco -Trumpet, Piano, and Jazz Teacher

Marco Lopez is a Los Angeles based trumpet player from Clovis, CA. Marco is a pianist, trumpetist, and a composer. Marco studied under the tutelage of the great Dr. Howie Shear at CSU Northridge in the jazz studies program. Marco has also studied with pedagogue legend Gary Pratt, keyboardist Gary Fukushima, and keyboardist Matt Harris. 

Marco has taught privately for 4 years, from beginners to advanced students, and from jazz students to classical students.  With many songs transcribed, Marco has absorbed music from all the greatest composers and musicians, from Stevie Wonder, Brahms, The Beatles, and Miles Davis. No matter what genre the student is interested in, Marco can teach it. 

Marco has toured all over the world, performing in the UK in 2015 and New Zealand in 2018. Marco performs all over Los Angeles in many settings, from Jazz to Salsa to classical orchestras.
