This summer, we’re offering an exciting learning opportunity for all musicians! Sign up now for an immersive performance class taking place in Redmond, WA. Nathan Straub, owner of AWSOM, will be leading a class for all ages on how to take your writing and performing skills to the next level. Whether you have experience in producing songs, or have simply always wanted to write a song, you are guaranteed to take something away from this class.

Details:

When: Tuesday evenings, starting the first Tuesday in August and running for 8 weeks
Where: Redmond, WA (address coming soon!)
Who: Any young musicians ages 8+ interested in improving their skills!
Length: 55-minute classes
Cost: $20 per student per class, with each payment made at the beginning of the month for the classes you will attend.
Classes will be progressive, but they’ll also cover different topics so you don’t miss out when you go on vacation!
Class size: 10-12 students (Kept small to ensure everyone has a chance to participate!)

We’ll cover subjects like singing technique, music theory (from simple to advanced), how to use Garage Band to create songs ranging in style from synths of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” to a classic band playing Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York”, and many other techniques open up a whole new world to the students. By the end of the course, each student will have written at least 1 complete song of their own, having gone through several iterations to improve upon it each week.
