Leaving AWSOM
Please be aware that teacher happiness is a strong concern of ours. If there is anything we can do to enhance your experience with AWSOM, please consider asking Before submitting this form.
That being said, if you are determined to leave, here are some things to be aware of:
1. Your contract forbids you from soliciting your current AWSOM students for lessons outside of AWSOM. We will take legal action if you choose to do this.
2. It takes time to find good teachers. Please consider giving us 4 weeks of notice so that we can do our best to serve your students well. At the very least, communicate with us to the best of your ability.
3. You will be paid for all lessons you teach with AWSOM after giving us notice, so you may need to submit an invoice even if you have already taught your last lesson.
4. Do NOT notify your AWSOM students until we give you the go ahead. We know that this can be difficult, but it is vital to making sure the family has a positive experience with AWSOM.
If you adhere to each of the items above, then you will leave AWSOM in good standing and we will be happy to provide a positive referral to any future client/employer.
