Concert in the Park Registration

We couldn’t be more excited to host the first AWSOM concert in the park with our incredible students and teachers as performers! If all goes well, we hope to hold this event yearly.

Please note that while anyone is invited as an audience member, this is a performance opportunity for our intermediate to advanced students. Though this is not a ticketed event, it is happening in a public space with the intent of offering our more advanced students a chance to perform for any park-goers as well as other families and teachers. The intended feel of the concert is that of skilled musicians busking in the park. We feel it will be a wonderful chance for our older students to showcase their skills in another environment, because as a professional musician, you’ll need to feel comfortable playing anywhere!

If you’re unsure whether your student fits this category, just ask us or your teacher! We are more than happy to help. If they’re not ready this year, there’s always next summer!

Concert details below:

Time: Saturday, August 9th from 5:30 to 7 pm

Location: Anderson Park - 7802 168th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052

Food and drinks will be provided! And unlike recitals, there’s no registration fee! This isn’t only a concert but a fun opportunity to socialize with fellow AWSOM students and teachers. There will be a pavilion with picnic tables, but we recommend you bring blankets and camp chairs if you want the full concert in the park experience!
