We are excited that you have decided to enroll with us and look forward to getting to know you more. We work hard to create many opportunities for our students to get involved in our music community. However, it is totally up to you to decide how much you'd like to get involved. Our staff and teachers are always looking to help our students grow in their musical talents so please feel free to reach out to any of us if you have questions or concerns.
Now that you are part of the AWSOM family we will be adding you to our mailing list. We send out monthly emails to let you know what is happening inside AWSOM as well as give you a heads up on upcoming recitals and events. If you are not receiving the monthly emails please contact our office to let them know.
One of the best parts of learning to play music is sharing your accomplishments with your loved ones. We like to think of AWSOM as a big musical family, and we often share our students’ accomplishments (with permission from the student and/or parents) and progress with the AWSOM community. One way we do this is through various social media sites, our website, and our monthly e-newsletters. We would love to have you be part of our social media communities.
In May and December of each year AWSOM will host a recital for our students. The registration fee is $35 per student. We will send out detailed information in our monthly emails leading up to the recital. Typically there are six 30-45min recitals. You will be able to log on to our website and chose which day and time slot of the recital you would like to participate in. Once each day/time slot of the recital has filled up we will take that option off of the website. So it is in your best interested to sign up early so that you an get the day/time slot of your choosing.
If you need to cancel a lesson, contact your teacher ASAP. We have calculated the average number of lessons a family takes in the course of a year, and the monthly tuition rate is already priced to accommodate for student cancellations. Teacher cancellations will always be deducted from the invoice.
We know that sickness is an inevitable thing when it comes to kids, school and playing outside. We ask that if you consider your child not well enough to be at school, that you would cancel the lesson with your teacher. Since we travel to many students homes all day, we not only don't want to be catching any bugs, but more importantly don't want to be spreading the sickness to all our other students that day. As stated before, We have calculated the average number of lessons a family takes in the course of a year, and the monthly tuition rate is priced to accommodate for student cancellations. Lessons cancelled due to sickness will not be refunded.
If the time comes for you to discontinue lessons we will be sad to see you go! In order to officially withdrawal from AWSOM you will need to contact the office and fill out our withdrawal from. Withdrawal must be complete before the 21st of the month in order to avoid being charged for the full month.
Withdrawal from Lessons
Tuition is paid as a flat rate every month and rates are listed here. After the first full month of lessons, a registration fee of $50 will be added to the invoice. Tuition and Enrollment Policies
We'll email your invoice on the 23rd of the month and payment is due on the 1st of the following month. Payments made after the final due date will incur a $20 late fee.
Invoice Payment Options
- Auto Pay: Give us a call to set up auto payment, you'll still receive your emailed invoice for your review, then sit back, relax knowing the total invoice amount will be automatically debited on the first of every month for free with ACH, or with a 3.5% processing fee via your credit card.
- Pay Online: Through your digital invoice, you can quickly and safely click on the secured link sent through Intuit and make payment by completing a simple form. If you like, create an account to make it even easier the next time around, just please remember to pay on time!
- Check: Through your digital invoice, you'll receive our mailing address should you prefer to send a check in the mail.
- Card Payments: We are more than happy to accept payment via debit and credit card through our online system, or through auto pay. As a growing music school trying to keep our prices as reasonable as possible, at this time it is necessary for us to pass the 3.5% card processing fee onto our customers. Just let our office know that you want to pay by card when your invoice arrives, and we will happily get you set up.
