Meet Andrew - Master Piano Teacher

Andrew finds great joy in teaching students all across the Greater Seattle region. His families describe him as a patient, kind and encouraging teacher, and they often like to note the British accent, and Britishisms, not least the union jack socks which occasionally make their appearance!

Alongside running the music school, Andrew loves getting to teach students of all ages and abilities, encouraging them to reach their full potential in music. For some, that is being able to learn a piece of music they heard, for others that is achieving gold medals in competitions and others prefer performing in recitals. Whatever your desire in learning to play piano, Andrew would love the opportunity to help you reach that goal, and do it while having a whole lot of fun.

Andrew hopes to have the opportunity to share his love of music with you and your family!

I would recommend Andrew to anyone who is looking for a professional, reliable and responsive instructor who will take the time to get to know both you and your children.
— Corinne
He is on time and does his job as instructor with humor and focus. There are teachers with different attributes I am certain, but frankly I am not interested. I consider myself lucky.
— Nan
Andrew sets a good tone with the children he is teaching. He is very encouraging without compromising on getting the best out of the student.
— Jaques
As a parent, I am surprised my son practices without being told. I expected him to rebel within a month, preferring to play pop songs but Andrew manages to motivate him into learning the rules of piano combined with allowing him to pick favorite songs to learn.
— Carrie
Andrew adapts to my son’s learning style really well and always comes up with new ways to energize his interest to continue playing the piano.
— Carolyn
Andrew is a natural. As a mentor, he is calm, composed and has that British sense of humor! No matter what level you are at, he is a wonderful guide to help incorporate music into your life.
